And I was tackled similarly by an EIGHTH grade girl who is in love with the
Twilight series...one who told me she didn't read & would never finish a book "that
long" in 2 weeks. Three weeks later, she had read the entire trilogy! Loved it so
much she was willing to hug her librarian (me) in the hallway, surrounded by 3 of
her friends! Now that's a holiday miracle!

Two reasons I just LOVE this job:
1.the kindergartners, who even after 4 months of school, still
call me Mrs. Library; and
2.the 4th grader who tackled me in the hall with a huge bear hug,
saying "I just LOVE this book!" as she was half way through Little House
on the Prairie.
