[LM_NET] HIT: relaxation resources for preschool

My target was for relaxation resources for preschool.  Here are the
responses I received.

I know there are baby yoga and preschool yoga books ... I have no
authority on which are the best but there are tons of moms groups out
there publishing them now.

I don't know of any books but Hap Palmer has music that I used to
soothe my 
students.  It really worked! I don't remember the name but it was one
that 
was used when they went down for nap time and is ends very slowly and 
quietly.

  I am an elementary school librarian for five schools who also sells
Story Time Felts, 
  http://www.funfelt.com I have used our felt boards and stories,
masks, puppets, books and dolls with preschoolers and it is a very
relaxing activity for them to participate in. The felt is fun and

Try a company called Big Kids Video (bigkidsvideo.com) and search for
yoga.
They have a CD called "Yoga Child" and there was a video called "Yoga
For
Kids" that I used to have in my early childhood school library. The CD
is
more about relaxation and breathing, and the video does yoga animal
poses
with some relaxation at the end.
