[LM_NET] Polacco's book An Orange for Frankie

For those you know and study P. Polacco's books (aren't they wonderful?),
does anyone know what happened to Frankie in AN ORANGE FOR FRANKIE?  I've
looked online through some of her interviews and book reviews.   My 3rd grade
students were so caught up in the book and now want to know more about the
history and follow up of the book!  Sometime Ms. Polacco puts an author's
note in the back, but there's no word about Frankie, other than he didn't
live to see another Christmas in the story.

The students have made lots of predictions.  Now, any facts?   Does anyone
know what happened to him?

Gotta love that intellectual curiosity!
