Thank you to all who replied to my question about what multimedia you have
or subscribe to. This will help me to look into some things to consider for
my library. Here are the responses I got for those who are interested.

We have a subscription to Grolier On-Line. It runs about $250 per year
and we have access to 6 encyclopedias. It is available anywhere on
school grounds and the students can log-in from home as well. I think
it's worth the price.
Everywhere I worked, I found people did not use the
CD-ROMS. Of course it was a battle to get them to use
the Internet subscriptions---the kids just wanted to
Google everything.
Ebsco is great. We also have Maps 101 and Newsbank (which is great for
finding current events information). It's also a good teaching site. We
have Britannica Online and next year I'm getting World Book Online. It's
great and you can get a free limited time subscription to check it out.
In addition to your magazine database, you may want to consider subscribing
to Worldbook Online and to Brainpop. These two services are excellent for
your k-8 students, and they can use them at home, which is a huge advantage.
