[LM_NET] TARGET: Using Film Clips in Senior Video/Copyright

Our seniors are working on their senior slideshow/video presentation.
Along with the usual shots of their own lives, they have included a
number of video clips from commercial movies. 

From what I can figure out, these clips are being used in a way that
infringes copyright because they are being used for a presentation that
is not done for a specific class and not part of an instructional
process.  Plus it will be shown to a large group of students and
parents.  Both if these issues seem to me to remove them from fair use.

I would love input from any of you who have faced similar situations,
and what decision was made.  Any backup would be appreciated as we
decide what to tell our students they can use, and what they can not.
