Hi,

In our yearbook meeting today we discussed fundraisers. Someone brought
up a game(r) nights, where we have LCD projectors set up in a multipurpose room
with various games (Halo) going at once. They first talked about charging
admission, and then just for concessions.

My questions are:

#1. Is this against copyright to charge admission? (I know it is for movies, I am
not sure for Games.)

#2 If they charge "for the seat or chair" and not for the game itself? Is that
against copyright laws? I thought it was splitting hairs and would be, but I am
not sure.

#3 If they just charge for the concessions only would this be in violation of the
copyright?

#4 I know that there is a copyright clearing house for movies at movlic.com is
there something similar for music, games, etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Anna
