[LM_NET] One book, one school

Hello!  My school is going to be kicking off our "What if all of St. Monica
read the same book?" program for the first time coming up in March.  I was
wondering if anyone out there has done such a program before and what was
your success with it?  What grade levels did the program include?  We are a
K-8 school and looking for some cross-grade participation.  Also, did you
include families and if so, what types of materials did you send home
letting parents know about the program goals.  I have the One Book, One
Community CD-ROM from ALA and it has great resources for publicity, but if
quite geared to doing the program in a public library environment.

 

Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated and I'll definitely
post all the ideas I receive.  Thank you in advance for your help!
