Hello all-

For those of you who are using eblogger or blogspot for your blogs
you might want to consider removing the little navigation bar at the
top of your blog. There is a link on it that says "Next blog" and
it's possible if your students click there they will be sent to a
blog that might have inappropriate material. (Try it out and you'll
see what I mean....)

You can remove that entire navigation bar by going into
Settings>Template>Edit HTML (you might want to make a copy of your
template before you do any edits.... just to be safe)

Then scroll down past all the code that has <Variable name..... in
it and make a space before the word body. Then inset the following
HTML:

#navbar {
height:0px;
visibility:hidden;
display:none
}

Save your template and when your blog comes up, the navigation bar
will be gone. The only down side is that you can't sign in to your
blogger account from your blog. You'll need to go to blogspot.com or
blogger.com to do that, but it seems worth it from a safety point of
view.

If you have any questions, don't be afraid to email me directly.
