Hi everyone. Frequently throughout the day students ask me to loan them scissors, tape, glue, markers, colored pencils, rubberbands, paper clips etc. While most of the time items come back, I am on my fifth pair of scissors and have lost a pack of colored pencils and quite a few markers. Neither the school nor my personal budget has the means to keep replacing these missing items. I've considered checking these items out to students but that just creates more work for me. I am considering setting up a supplies stations in the library with many of these items chained to a table. Before I do that, however, I thought I'd see how some of you have handled this situation. Would you be willing to share your advice and experience with this?
