Hi all- I'm a first semester graduate student for my Masters in library science. I'm just curious, and looking for insight, in regards to this profession. I hope this is an appropriate post, as I've been lurking for a few weeks now. Basically, I am curious as to why many of you have chosen to specialize in school media rather than public, medical, academic, etc? I am facing a decision as the semester is progressing to pursue a specialty. Have any one worked in other library fields and found school media was simply the right one for them? Thanks- I really appreciate any advice to an inquiring graduate student.
