[LM_NET] GEN: weeding minority studies books

I have weeded some books from the late 60's early 70's with titles like: (group) in 
America, 
My first attempt got filtered, so I can't put in the ethnic group names!!
Does anyone know of a university program which might be able to use them for a 
historical study - views of ethnic groups, etc?  
 
 
Someone out there in LM_NET land had told me about Ellen H. Ruffin, the Curator, de 
Grummond Children's Literature Collection for McCain Library and Archives at The 
University of Southern Mississippi. She wrote and told me that the books which I 
sought to unburden my collection from were indeed useful to her collection!   
Unfortunately, I had already gotten rid of them!!!   So I'm attempting to right my 
wrong by letting you know - when you want to weed your 300s - send outdated ethnic 
studies to Ellen Ruffin.  A web search will turn up her contact info.  That's how I 
found her after being given the name.
