TumbleBooks.com, also a subscription website, has books in English, Spanish,
Chinese, and French. They are adding some lately in Italian.

Go to http://www.tumblebooks.com

A user can choose the language of the books. The books are animated, read
aloud to the child, and the words are highlighted as they are read. These
are standard picture books.

The same company offers TumbleReadables (online books the students read
without the audio), bundles of Spanish and English audio books, and other
services. There are lesson plans for teachers for the books, a place where
students can write a book report on the book, and games and puzzles the
teachers can use to challenge or follow up on viewing the books.

Subject: [LM_NET] HIT:Bilingual software

I only got 2 suggestions about my request for bilingual software...it must
not be something many use....but maybe it might help some folks.

Thank you for these two suggestions

Take a look at www.raz-kids.com It is part of Reading A-Z for kids.
Bilingual.
It is a subscription website.

The only software I know of is Rosetta Stone, other than the standard
software that is offered for young children by Jumpstart. I have only seen a
Spanish version.
