[LM_NET] Lucky: to buy or not to buy

I must admit I was one of the librarians who thought
I'd skip this particular book, but
I'm-a-hangin'-my-head in shame today. I'm getting a
copy in about an hour. I will read the entire book and
make my own decision about what is best for my
students. I know I have let others influence me too
much about this book as I did once before only to
discover the The Giver was one of the very best
stories I had ever read. (I bet I order Lucky when all
is said and done just like I did The Giver.) I do know
I will be making the final decision about whether
Lucky is right for my students based on the quality of
the entire work and not on one word.
