Good afternoon,

Register now for the American Association of School Librarians (AASL) 13th National
Conference and Exhibition in Reno, October 25-28, 2007, by visiting AASL's
conference web site at http://www.ala.org/aasl/reno.

The conference will feature an Opening General Session with keynote speaker Dan
Pink, author of “A Whole New Mind,” special appearances by award-winning authors
Wendelin Van Draanen and David Lubar, and Omar Wasow, co-founder of
BlackPlanet.com, as the Closing General Session speaker.

“The conference theme focuses on the future of our programs and profession. Often
we think of the future as some far off distance place, but in reality it is always
much closer than we think,” said Carl A. Harvey II, conference planning committee
co-chair. “Come be a part of the conversations, the sessions, the exhibits, and
the atmosphere. Invest in your future now by registering for the 2007 AASL
conference. We hope to see you there!”

Attendees who register by the July 6 early bird deadline can save up to $100 off
the cost of onsite registration. Full registration includes admittance to all
concurrent sessions, the opening and closing general sessions, exhibit hall and
Exhibit Hall Block Party and the AASL Closing Night Gala at the National Automobile
Museum.

Registration is open via the AASL Conference Web site http://www.ala.org/aasl/reno,
the primary source of news and information about the AASL National Conference. On
