I was a little unnerved the other day. An older man came in my high school library with all the proper tags on (they have to go through Raptor - a background check to get onto school property now) and he was demanding I show him to my "religious section" so he could see if I had a copy of the Holy Bible and a copy of the Koran. I was able to show him both. Then he told me it was for a bet. That a man had bet him schools in general and our school in particular didn't have a copy of the Bible, just the Koran. That we weren't allowed to have a copy on the shelves. In the middle of all this my principal came in (I think the office might have informed him that someone had come in here questioning our collection). The man walked away saying something about the other guy "eating his words while I eat my meal." lm Lynette (LYNN) Mitchell Library Media Specialist Crystal River High School 1205 NE 8th Ave. Crystal River, Florida 34428 mitchelll@citrus.k12.fl.us 352-795-4641 ext: 248 352-795-4519 FAX PRIVILEGED AND CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION: The information contained in this electronic transmission, and any documents attached hereto, may contain confidential information that is legally privileged and confidential.
