I didn't find anything about this in the archive, so just an FYI:

  This is a service that provides communications for family and friends of Marines
   
  deployed to Iraq.  Persons in the Army, Air Force or Navy co-located with them
   
  may use the service as well.  Emails are printed out and delivered to service 
personnel,
   
  usually within 24 hours.
