I was going to and then got side-tracked with other things. LOL! This
really is an amazing show, which is Canadian in origin, I believe. I
saw a preview on "On Demand" and fell in love with the animation style.

You can find episode lists and summaries here:

The librarians first appear in Season 1, Episode 6 - "Jacob Two-Two and
the Mystery of the Malty McGuffin". The episode that Sarah mentions
below is from Season 3, Episode 38 - "Jacob Two-Two and the Bookworm
Brouhaha".

To my knowledge, 9 episodes are currently available on DVD;
unfortunately they weren't released in any kind of order, so the library
ninja episodes aren't out yet. However, I highly recommend this series
anyway because it's so much fun, and clever too!

I also feel I should mention that the show was actually a book trilogy

This made me think of something I'm surprised no one else has mentioned
yet. There is a cartoon called Jacob Two-Two
http://www.qubo.com/jacob_show.asp
Jacob reads a lot, was excited to get his library card, and was
eventually recruited as a Library Ninja. Those who track down those with
overdue books. The Library Ninjas who are real librarians (who look
great by the way, not a bun in sight) pop up again in other episodes.
It's a little out there, but a really neat show.
