I saw this craft on a blog I like to read.  If you're a fan of "altered
book art" or are looking for a way to use a book once all the pages have
fallen apart, here's the link:

I noted with interest that the tech-related blog I picked this up on
( had a number of comments from readers who obviously
hoped crafters wouldn't make a clock out of a still-usable children's
book.  Maybe the gap between the tech-world and the book-world isn't as
wide as the public (or at least, the media) thinks.  :-)
