[LM_NET] SHARE: "If the World were a village"

Good Morning LM_NET,

After reading Rebecca Dickenson's posting about the book "If the World
Were a Village", (which I, too love!) I wanted to suggest a down-loadable
movie called "The Miniature Earth" to use when talking about this
important idea with children (or anyone).  The 4 minute film uses the
ideas articulated in the book in a very thought-provoking manner.  We used
the film as part of an assembly we did at my school about Human Rights for
the United Nations Human Rights Day which was held on Dec. 10, 2006. The
film is very moving.  You are asked to pay $5 to download the film and
proceeds go to a worthwhile cause.  Hope you enjoy it.
