Hi all,
Finally had a chance to see the Eragon movie, and went with family, two of whom
had read the book, and one who had not. Those who had read the book were
disappointed, and the one who hadn't said it was apparent even to him that too much
was left out. And that seems to be the crux of the matter. The movie was barely
over 90 minutes -- why on earth didn't they make it longer, and include much more
of the plot from the book? It would have been a much better movie had they taken
the time to more fully develop the plot -- and they had the time to do it! And
agreed, the special effects were very well done. As it is, given the disappointing
reviews, we'll probably never get to see the rest of the books done as film. It's
really too bad.

your own free will is always more joyous, better quality stuff." Sahara Special,
