I was reading Beautiful Blackbird by Ashley Bryant to a fourth grade. They started talking about a story about how the blackbird got to be black. they thought we had it in the library. We looked but couldn't find. (I didn't remember ever seeing it). So, does anyone know of another African folk tale about Blackbird? -- Johanna Halbeisen, Library Media Teacher Woodland Elementary School (K-4) 80 Powder Mill Rd, Southwick, MA 01077 JH@newsonglibrary.org -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
