If someone has the time and the program Inspiration, this type of thing would be easy to create! Unfortunately, I have the program, but not the time! Shirley Lukenbill, Librarian Wooldridge Elementary, Austin (TX) ISD and Lecturer, School of Information University of Texas at Austin sluken@ccwf.cc.utexas.edu -----Original Message----- From: School Library Media & Network Communications [mailto:LM_NET@LISTSERV.SYR.EDU] On Behalf Of Debra Williams Sent: Sunday, January 07, 2007 7:26 AM To: LM_NET@LISTSERV.SYR.EDU Subject: [LM_NET] LM_NET Elem Hit:Folk Tale Map Thanks to all who replied. The consensus of most everyone for my problem was make a digital picture of the paper poster map I had and include it in the power point. Worked perfectly! I did contact my Scott Foresman rep and ask if there was any current material containing a folk tale map. Have not received a response from him. No one has come up with a website that contains such a thing and many were interested if I found one. Also some expressed interest in the development of a unit combining map skills and folk tales. My dream would be an interactive US map with folk tale characters that linked you to stories about that character. Could someone get busy on that?
