In the late 70's my first husband and I purchased a Tandy TRS 80. It had a cassette tape drive and 4 k of RAM. He wanted to upgrade to 16 k and I asked 'why?'. I have since then owned 10 more, all Apple/ Macs and we are still using the last 4. I am anxiously awaiting what is being announced at MacWorld in San Francisco this week to see how out of date my computers are now! ;-) Barb **************************** Barb Engvall =^..^= Teacher-Librarian John Campbell Elem Selah, WA macbarb@charter.net http://www.selah.k12.wa.us/JC/jc.cfm On Jan 5, 2007, at 11:34 AM, Janice Davies wrote: > In the news today was the announcement of the new terabyte hard drive. > > http://news.zdnet.com/2100-9584_22-6147409.html > > This made me think about my first home computer -- an IBM > compatible Tandy 1000 which didn't even have a hard drive.
