Hi, folks. At the end of January, I'll be teaching an inservice on podcasting to some teachers in my district. The first of the sessions will focus on the "whys," and the second on the "hows." My question to you all is, what do you use podcasts for? If you podcast, is it for instruction? Booktalks? Parent communication? If your students podcast, is it as part of a project? A final assessment? I would also welcome a list of the best podcasts you've made or listened to, educational or not, professional or not, aimed at kids, teens, or adults. I have a few that were posted not long ago as part of an LM_Net hit, but podcasts come and go, and more are posted every minute. (Podcasting was even part of the plot on an episode of "Numbers" last Friday!) If you have favorite software you use, please let me know--we're a "Windows" district. Lastly, if there's anything you would like to see in an inservice on podcasting, please share. I'll post a hit. Thanks!
