LM_NET Archive



I had to get in on this one! My first home computer, purchased in about
1978, was a Korean knock-off Apple IIe. When it overheated, I would often
have to pull off the top and push down on the chips to get it to boot.

The first student access computer in our school library was an Atari.The
district decided to go with them rather than Apple. I presume it was a
"lowest bidder" thing. They only accepted Atari cartridges and they were
hopeless!
