[LM_NET] GEN: Ordered video lately?

Colleagues: I'm writing a law review article on a recent situation
involving a union catalog listing video available for interlibrary loan.
A group of video producers threatened to sue the organizers of the union
catalog under the theory that the license for the videos did not permit
use beyond the local campus. Part of their rationale is that all video
is sold subject to site, term, and use licenses. 

If you have purchased video from any of the following producers and
have received additional paperwork indicating licensing restrictions on
the video you have purchased, would you please contact me off-list? Same
if you see a usage restriction when the video plays or is on the video
packaging. I have investigated the web sites of these companies, and
only one has specific wording on the online catalog/purchase conditions
that limits what rights are available re: loan to other campuses or
non-school patrons.
