At our high school library, we have an annual "Book Bash" for faculty and staff during midterm exams where we display all the new books in the collection since last year. We usually have a theme (last year was Mardi Gras, year before that was Pirates) We serve bunch-y kinds of food. This year I was thinking about calling it a "Literary Feast" and serve food with clever names, but the only ones I've come up with are "Elizabeth Barrett Brownies" and "Quiche Lorraine Hansberry." So, if you need to take a little break from your day and wax poetic (or if you're good at the "Before and After" Round on Wheel of Fortune), let me know off list.
