Hi All, I could really use your collective wisdom and insight on the following situation. We have a good reconsideration policy in place and we will follow it. But I'd really like to be well prepared with some strong arguments and excellent reasoning for keeping all three titles in our collection. What happened is this; a wealthy donor to our school has objected to three titles I recently purchased. They are; 1. The Book of Mormon; another Testament of Jesus Christ. Translated by Joseph Smith Jr. ISBN 038551316X. 2. The Koran. Translated from the Arabic by J.M. Rodwell. ISBN 1842126091. 3. My Land, My People; the Original Autobiography of His Holiness the Dalai Lama of Tibet. ISBN 0446674214. My principal has requested I not shelve them at this time. Thank you so much for any advice or insights you may have. I keep thinking this might be funny, if it weren't so sad. I'm trying not be discouraged, I appreciate the lifeline this listserve is so much!
