Just a general question for y'all. I'm working on a five year plan for our collection, and I was just wondering how many of you are actually meeting your state standards for total number of volumes. I would be especially interested in how many of you Texas librarians are at Acceptable, Recognized or Exemplary. I guess I'm also really wondering if we are the only school system struggling to meet those goals with the current funding or if other's out there are doing the same thing. If anyone's interested, I'll post a hit with the responses so that we can get an overall picture. Thanks! "Sometimes when I get up in the morning, I feel very peculiar. I feel like I've just got to bite a cat. I feel like if I don't bite a cat before sundown, I'll go crazy! But then I just take a deep breath and forget about it. That's what is known as real maturity." ~Snoopy Tina Cline Life School Library Dallas, Texas 214-376-8200, ext. 162 tcline@ednet10.net -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
