Hello all,

I have a group in my school that would like to provide
new Scholastic books to a school which has suffered a
disaster (2005 & 6 hurricanes qualify) and needs to
replace all or a large portion of its collection. This
must be a public elementary school library with a
librarian located somewhere in the United States.

At this point I don't have loads of details, but I
suspect we could provide a minimum of $1000.00 in
books, most of which would probably be paperbacks. I
am going to encourage my group to allow the library we
sponsor to choose the titles which would best fit the
needs of that school.

Please contact me with information about why you would
be a great school for us to sponsor. I suggest
providing a short letter with information about your
libary and the problems you have experienced. Pictures
are welcome.
