Please share with me the reasons and importance of having a written technical processing policy for cataloging materials. Should the policy list specifics for different grade levels? I am especially interested in the middle school level. Any sample policies will be most helpful. As a student in an online cataloging class, I would appreciate information and advice from experienced library media specialists/school catalogers.
