I am dealing with a filtering issue at my school and I was wondering how
many of your schools have Board approved policies outlining criteria for
what categories/sites are blocked through your filter. We as librarians
generally have Material Selection Policies that guide our decisions and I am
looking for a similar thing for web filtering. Also, do you have a
procedure for what to do if someone requests that something be blocked or
unblocked--similar to when a book is challenged?
Thanks for your help.
Meg
