Thanks for all the quick responses! The number of cameras per campus/per students varied greatly, from 0 cameras for a small K-5 campus with only 18 classes to 1 camera per classroom. The average seemed to be about 1 camera for every 100 students. Some ideas for acquiring additional cameras: One school with 400 students and 4 cameras requested and received fundraiser money from PTA and purchased about 12 more cameras. Another school of 500+ students and 3 cameras had a parent who donated 8 cameras. Another school of 450 and 2 cameras was able to write a grant to their PTA and purchased enough cameras for one per class + 3 additional to be housed in the library and checked out. Thanks again for your responses. Hope the ideas help some of us acquire some additional cameras! -- Leah Hawkins West Hurst Elementary Hurst, TX leahleah@tx.rr.com "It's no use going to school unless the library is your final destination."
