LM_NET Archive



There is some controversy in my district regarding Follett's upgrade to
6.3.   It has capability to keep track of a patrons cumulative check
outs.  Some find it useful in that you can see if someone hasn't checked
out in awhile or is stuck on Junie B. Books and needs some encouragement
to check out something different.   Others think it is too close to "Big
Brother" and "Patriot Act violations" and shouldn't be used.   It is
easily enough turned off.   What do others think?
