The good news is my Principal is looking to use my site as the platform to jump into all school apps including MyClasses and CeNet. The bad news is that my site is unstable and needs a good re-vamp which I am doing over the vacation. Here is my request: I am looking for sample websites that use red and green, (or even red and soft blue). These do not have to be library sites - I am looking for the colours. My library website is dull and some of the colours are not web safe I am discovering. Our school colours are a sharp red and green - Difficult combination I think and I avoided them the first time I set up the site. The colours are on the crest on my existing site at http://www.delanylibrary.com Anyone point me to sites that use red and green as a basis and to effect? Any hints for me? I think that I could use 'a' red and 'a' light green, and put the crest in the top corner maybe. I did find a site recently that had a soft blue left vertical column and used broad crimsonish bands in the content area. I bookmarked it in my brain but it is lost in there somewhere (and yes, I use del.icio.us!). I thought at the time that green could have been substituted.
