After the recent discussions about the lack of school job openings, I thought I
would share an opening at a public library that might suit those with an elementary
certification..
The Peters Township Public Library in McMurray, PA ( a Pittsburgh suburb) is
looking for a full-time Children's Librarian for an immediate opening. This
growing, well-funded library considers the children's program a cornerstone of its
services. The children's librarian should expect to spend the majority of his/her
time in children's programs. A very competitive salary and benefits are offered.
Library degree preferred. This library is consistently ranked as one the nation's
best for its community size.
