This year the state of Tennessee is requiring that all schools K-12 add 90 minutes per week of physical activity during the school day. Our high school is looking for ideas about how to implement this requirement in ways that will be fun yet manageable and not disruptive or preemptive of learning time. Athletics and P.E. don't count, and walking across the campus doesn't count. What are other high schools doing? What resources can the school librarian provide? Please share your great ideas. Thanks, Julie Dahlhauser, librarian Jackson Central-Merry High School Jackson, Tennessee juldahl@gmail.com jbdahlhauser@jmcss.org -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
