Here's my question, which I hope someone will know. I'm working on finishing
my new storytelling book for Libraries Unlimited, due next week, almost done,
coming out in the fall. One of the stories I'm including in there is my
version of "The Tale of a Black Cat," a classic American draw-and-tell story. I'm
recalling that there was a version of this story in one of the Little House
books, but I can't find any mention of it online. If you have any further words of
wisdom on this, I'd love to know which book it's from and, if it's online
somewhere, the text, or at least what the story's about & what page it's on. I
don't have a set of the "Little House" books at home.
