With all the information available to us, it is amazing to think just how dumb a librarian can be. The First Lady, as I understand, was a school librarian, and one might think, would have some skills in how to obtain information and at least some influence on her husband, our President. And you would think that this person could have advised him just a little about the facts of Iraq and its people - suffering so (not to mention our military - vulnerable and stuck there). So we have a monumental failure as a librarian in a very influential position. Can we use this monumental disaster in a positive way? I think we can. I think it is incumbent on us to do so.
