We ordered our copy through a local bookstore in Western MA, but went to Cambridge
to hear Harry and the Potters at Harvard Yard. We danced with the throngs and had
a very awesome time.

I couldn't get our book until late Saturday afternoon, but it was worth it! If
you've ever witnessed live Wizard Rock, you know what I mean!

Happy reading all,
Robin

Subject: Re: [LM_NET] Harry Potter Fun (No Spoiler)
My son and I have always read our respective copies "together" no matter where we
were. He was sometimes on the other side of the world in the the Navy, but he got
his hands on his copy and and I got mine and we phoned and emailed each other when
we came to an important plot point or interesting section to see if the other had
gotten there yet. Finally # 7 and we are living the same house together!

BUT ... after a couple of mix ups in scheduling a long anticipated weekend away
with girlfriends I had scheduled THIS last weekend to be away with my friends!
Then I remember it was Harry Potter Friday! I couldn't believe what I had done,
but since we had already rescheduled several times I would just have to suck it up
and wait. My son went to Borders at midnight and got our copies. When I got home
Sunday afternoon, I found my copy on the table in the foyer with a note that said,
"I'm on chapter 14, have fun. :-) Love, Cuda" (his nickname for) He had had to
work a double on Sat and Sun so he didn't have much time to read either.

So we are finally caught up and reading together again. :-)
