As parental involvement person at my building, and being out of ideas... I am looking for websites that include descriptions or outlines of outstanding activities schools have used to get families involved. These can be from 30 min. to yearlong. I have searched the archives and found many great articles and tips. I have found lists of schools which have been recognized for exemplary programs, but the list does not include information about the program. If you know of any such sites, please share. I need to have some ideas together by next week so the planning can begin. Has your school has done something great along these lines? If so, would you send a link with a description (or have time to tell me about it)? Any and all ideas appreciated. I promise to share.
