The Follett Panther works beautifully with Follett Circ/Cat Plus. Here are
the directions:

To scan for inventory:

On your Desktop create a new folder and name it something like "Panther

On your Panther use the stylus to open the Follett Remote icon.

At the top of the window click on Function and then on Library Inventory.

Scan your collection (full or partial inventory) and then close Follett

To download to your computer:

Insert the cable into a USB port and connect the Panther to the other end.
Open My Computer.

Click on Mobile Device > IPSM > Follett Remote.

There will be a file named "Library Inventory" with the date as part of the
file name. Right click on this file and then click on Copy. Paste into the
Panther Scans file created on the Desktop.

To process the inventory information:

Open Follett Applications and then open Inventory.

(If you did not set a "Begin" inventory already, do so now.)

Click on Remote Inventory.

Drop down the menu at the top left and click on Data File.

Browse for the Desktop/Panther Scans/Library Inventory file and highlight
this file. Click Open.

Click on Proceed.

After the computer crunches the data, close the box.

To delete scans from the Panther:

Click to My Computer and then on Mobile Device > IPSM > Follett Remote.

Right click Library Inventory file and click on delete.

A very patient Follett Tech Support rep called me yesterday and walked me
through all of this. Thank you, Lori.
