[LM_NET] GEN: Important Summer Reminder for All Members of LM_NET

Dear LM_NET Colleagues,

Please remember, LM_NET postings continue throughout the year. If you will
not be checking your mail while away from school or home, you may want to
consider changing your settings to stop mail (but continue as a member).

* * * *   Temporarily Stopping (and Re-Starting) Mail From LM_NET * * * *

If you want to stop receiving mail from LM_NET for a period of time and still
remain a member of LM_NET, all you have to do is send a specific message (as
explained below) to the listserv computer which handles LM_NET mail.

Send the message to this address:  listserv@listserv.syr.edu
   In the body of the message, on the first line, type the following:
   set lm_net nomail

To restart your LM_NET mail, send to the same address, the following:
   set lm_net mail

Please note: One more thing. The listserver will ask for a confirmation,
so please be ready to respond with a simple "OK" reply.
