Hi folks - I need to pick the collective brain of the group again. I am doing a retirement speech for a very good friend of mine. It is fairly serious so far. I was wondering if any one knew of something children's literature-wise if possible (although it does nothave to be) that I could read at the end - lasting about a minute (something along the lines of a poem or passage) that would be a good moving ending to the things I am saying about her to wish her well, etc. I love quotes but a single quote is probably not long enough. I would need this suggestion asap as she has just decided to retire and we are honoring her this weekend. Thanks for any help you can give me. As always, all ideas and suggestions are much appreciated. :-) Melinda Miller-Widrick Melinda Miller-Widrick, K-12 LMS Colton-Pierrepont CSD T 315-262-2100 4921 State Highway 56 F 315-262-3135 Colton, NY 13625 melinda@cpcs.k12.ny.us "Libraries enable the past to talk to the future."
