I met this journalist the other night and he had an interesting questions for me. I didn't have any answers but I thought there might be some people who are part of our list that would like to let him know what they think. Please reply to Andrew, not to me. "...people who belong to book groups that listen to books rather than read them. I'm trying to discern how common this phenomenon is, and for those who do: Do they always mention that fact to others in the group? Do they speak specifically about the audio book productions and how well they're produced, narrated, etc.? Have they encountered any negative associations that others have about audio books, and have they in fact converted anyone in their book groups to become listeners? Naturally I am always particularly interested in anecdotes that are insightful or humorous. You had said you post to a listserv where I might find some people, so please post the above there.
