I was just wondering if any other Media Specialist had been encouraged by either
their principal or school system to not buy any more videos for their collection?
I have been told that I may not want to build the video collection for two reasons:
1) United Streaming has now been in place for two years at my school and 2) at some
point all school may switch to a central tower versus individual towers at
individual schools. I even know of one school in my system this year that has
already been told to remove all VCR's from the classrooms. I am just wondering if
anyone else is encountering this situation and what you are doing about it? I know
the teachers at my school will not be happy that the video section has not been
updated again. Thanks.
