Dear Members, How does your school/library manage classroom supplementary reading materials for English classes? The recent trend I've seen in high school libraries is the English bookroom moving into the library. Is that the case across the country? Where are these books stored? How much advance notice does the library need for check out? How is this extra responsibly managed? As a former English department chair, I have had to manage and inventory the book room, so I understand this responsibility. Currently an English teacher, I greatly appreciate my new school that has given this responsibility to the library. But as a future media specialist, I realize that this might be on my plate again! Thanks in advance for your information!
