I am a second year HS Media Specialist. Our media center has actively gone out and recruited teachers for collaboration on all types of projects. One product we would like to have students complete next semester is a wiki. The wiki could be a whole class, group or individual project. I am familiar with wikispaces and pbwiki. Has anybody used either of these services? Any preferences? Why? Have any media specialists used wikis as a project with teachers? What disciplines? Any information would be helpful. This would be a first for our media center but I think it would go a long way to incorporating technology into curriculum and engaging students. Thanks for your help!
