[LM_NET] BIO Spine labels

My biography section has always driven me crazy with large blocks of books
in a confusing order.

Several years ago I changed my spine labels to
  BIO
  AAAAA  (5 letters of last name of Biographee instead of three)

But when I do inventory, there are still large groups mixed up
for example (JACKS, WASH, and ADAMS)

I now I have changed my spine label policy to:
  BIO
  AAAAA (5 letters of last name of Biographee)
  AAA (3 letters of first name of Biographee)

This will eliminate most of the problems (except for BUSH - which I can deal
with)

BEFORE YOU WRITE BACK... .I just throw this out as an idea.  I know it is
not standard but I think it will work for my situation.  I had considered
doing the last line with the author's name as other libraries do, but that
still would not put the books in an order that makes sense.

Also, I do not have time to change all my spine labels.  I will first change
them in the computer and then when I do inventory, the books will be in
order.
