Hello - Almost as interesting as the results of this very unofficial survey was the variety of grade levels served. Of the 129 responders, 30 different grade level configurations were reported. From schools serving only 2 grades (3-4, 4-5, 5-6, 6-7, 7-8) to one serving infants to adults, and everything else in between. For the purpose of this survey, I've broken them down: traditional elem preK - 6 16 no 49 yes 3 undecided middle schools 5 - 8 2 no 33 yes high schools 2 no 3 yes 1 undecided preK - 8 schools 1 no 4 yes preK - 12 2 no 8 yes middle/high combined 3 no 5 yes Total: 26 no 102 yes This got very confusing, so if the numbers don't add up right, I'm sorry. They're close. I was sorry I didn't have this tabulated yesterday so I could have called in to NPR.
